It does have some scratches and general wear and tear type stuff. I have an original front driveshaft for it that needs rebuilt and installed. It was put on a lift and degreased and hotsyed and then painted.
The passenger side front cab support looks like it was re-done but not very well. We also offer service, restoration, and detail. Unfortunately a family matter has come up and I am regrettably selling my truck. It is in East texas so the rust is not as bad as these in these ads, but it does have it in the usual places for these trucks Lower cab corners rockers floor,etc. There is some rust through in one of the bed braces, the front one. This is something to bring home, fix up and drive the wheels off again and again. Call or email with any questions. I am listing the truck locally and reserve the right to end this auction early. The rockers were replaced at some point but not finished. This means that it does not have the trailing arm rear suspension with coil springs like most of these trucks came with. It even has a tilt column. Odometer currently shows 26363 miles. Overall, it is a great truck for restoration that runs and drives well.
This particular vehicle just came to us out of northern Iowa and is now available to be purchased. This truck was originally ordered with a leaf spring rear suspension and front disc brakes. I purchased this truck approx. Full payment must be received within 7 days of auction end. All the gauges in the instrument cluster have been adapted to the newer engine and they all work.
The other three cab supports look pretty decent but may need some work. The truck will sell to the highest bidder. At My Classic Garage, we remove the hassle of shipping. Please click the link below to see them. The truck shifts well but I have not tested the transfer case or the front differential as there is no driveshaft installed. All the glass is good and original but the windshield is cracked. She drove it for a year or so until the motor gave up when a rod let go in it. Look over the pictures and video of this truck and we think you'll agree it's a nice looking classic pickup.
Cab corners appear to be in great shape and original. Because of the newer engine with fuel injection it starts right up with no problems and runs great. The rear end has 3:73 gears and does have a posi in it. This is a Custom, the lowest trim level, basically a work truck. The truck has been upgraded to Â¾ ton suspension and has a 14 bolt rear end.
