The 135i Sport package adds sport seats, an M Sport steering wheel, Shadowline trim and increased top speed. In either model, there's also an opening with expandable bag that allows long items like a snowboard or golf bag to fit through. The paint, body, and interior have only very minor blemishes and there are no major mechanical problems. It can be used as a normal automatic or shifted manually via steering wheel buttons or the gearshift push down for downshifts, pull up for upshifts. A variable-ratio Active Steering system, which varies both the ratio and level of assist for quicker response, is optional on the 135i.

In some ways better than the 3 series--top down at least you have some useable trunk space with the 128. Hit an apex and the 135i leans slowly, as if it had a 55-gallon barrel bolted on its roof. The little Bimmer's demeanor morphs with less throttle and steering dialed in. It does not mean that the vehicle is perfect or new.
Lowering the soft top produces a storage space that is 8 cubic-feet, which does not include the optional large storage bag that extends into the passenger compartment and can accommodate two snow boards or a golf bag without soiling the upholstery.
