Also, I think this was the bloodiest Leprechaun movie out of the 6, so a little gore is cool for horror fans. You can't help but fall in love. So, for a good laugh and just a fun time with the Leprechaun, give it a chance. This is a great movie! I first seen a portion of this movie on October 31, 2000 and it was okay. That's been old for 20 years now!! While the neo-gangsta rappers lay low, the irate Leprechaun slays everyone whom Postmaster P, Butch and Stray Bullet have paid with Leprechaun monies! Because without the medallion, the statue transforms into the Leprechaun, who goes on a killing spree looking for his missing gold, once again! But when it came to the little green wrinkly face of Leprechaun, I was petrified. I had seen previous Leprechaun films, which were admittedly hilariously awful, so I should have known what I was getting myself and my unlucky friend into. Luckily, I only remember the Leprechaun blubbering out one rhyme in this movie which was a welcomed change, instead of rolling my eyes at another lame one-rhymer. After a disappointing gross from Leprechaun 2, Vidmark released Leprechaun 3 direct-to-video. But you gotta give director Ayromlodi credit for pulling out a couple of new turns, and making a solid entry into the series.

Three young rap artists are looking for a break. I used to laugh while my sisters got scared wusses The movies were great can't help but laugh at how stupid the leprechaun is. I had never watched a movie with Anthony Montgomery or Rashaan Nall before this one, and they hit the characters of Postmaster P and Stray Bullet wonderfully. There's horrible editing with reused shots in the same scene, terrible direction with shots messed up on the day of filming that were later remedied with horrible cgi, and dialogue so bad that it comes across as the writer having seen Boyz in the Hood once and writing a screenplay based on what little he remembered from that film. I dunno bout other fans of the series, but Warwick Davis is my interest in the Leprechaun films and anything else that isn't hideous is a bonus. When I was little, I was only scared of his face and what he was doing to everyone, just to get his flute back.
This Film also features Sticky Fingaz and Tangi Miller. There may still be the problems with some of the characters and their dialogue, as well as some obvious plot holes, but Lep 6 actually worked on building up the characters, as well as a back story for the Leprechaun. The story presented in the book is contradictory to the events of the film in several regards, such as depicting Daniel O'Grady as a lowly farmer and inhabitant of Ireland instead of America who obtains the Leprechaun's gold not by capturing the creature as was stated in the film but by following a rainbow. The following sequels were all direct-to-video.
You either like this kind of humor or just think that it's been done before and move on. Slug, being greedy, wants the medallion and takes it off the Leprechaun, who awakens from his petrified state and kills him, and is returned to stone by Mack Daddy getting the medallion back on him. Confronting O'Grady and demanding his gold the Leprechaun is injured by O'Grady and sealed in a crate with a four-leaf clover, though before O'Grady can kill the creature he suffers a stroke. After being blown up by a group of marines who rescue Zarina, the Leprechaun is reborn on the marines' ship via exploding out of the groin of one of an unfortunate man, Kowalski. Leprechaun: In the Hood is the fifth movie in the Leprechaun series and puts the little green menace into an urban setting with a side of comedy to it. The film features Warwick Davis as the malevolent Leprechaun who stalks a group of friends from the inner city after stealing his gold.
