Its like whenever you want to open a file, antivirus will check to make sure it's safe before you and if you are dealing with a massive zip that contains multiple files like Nvidia's driver setup files , that's even worst. I did all that 2 days ago with nothing. I know I can change the settings manually but its just bothering me that it suddenly stopped working like this. That was pretty much it, what i would try to do if yours doesn't work after this, uninstall again and check all folders the program could leave files in search google for folder directories this might work for you. Restart the system and try again. On paper, this software means you don't have to navigate this process manually — but sometimes this can cause issues.

I've same problem with GeForce Experience which is not a good Experience Btw if it is not running you will still be able to play games and change settings manually in the game options. Many users have been hampered by the software freezing upon setup of these drivers, resulting in a more drawn-out and frustrating process. I'm sure nobody from nVidia is listening, but what the hell. How long do I wait?? After looking around awhile it sounds like it's a so-so common problem with nvidia install packages over the past several years. If anyone is getting or got this too it'd be grateful if you share some info.
Since the bug does not effect everyone and some people have dramatically odd experiences, the problem might be an uninitialized pointer. Leave for a few minutes before returning the plug to the socket and turning your computer back on. Sounds like that's your problem. I've tried to run the program in administrator mode and that doesn't help any. Solution: Kill the application GeForce Experience in Task Manager because it won't let you close it out while it is installing. Also should I download the Nvidia experience thing? Seems a very corrupt Win10, if you can't find a way to resume updates properly, do a full reset, think it's under recovery. I tried making things easier by pressing to thing to auto detect my card then it says I needed java. And then I will follow up here if it worked, give it a few days as Ill be trying a few more fixes.
